If you LOOOVE fairy tales, this is the book for you…
A Kiss in Time by Alex Flinn
What did you do on your summer vacation?
Jack found a 300-year-old princess!

Talia fell under a spell…

Jack broke the curse.

I was told to beware the accursed spindle, but it was so enchanting, so hypnotic. . . .
I was looking for a little adventure the day I ditched my tour group. But finding a comatose town, with a hot-looking chick asleep in it, was so not what I had in mind.
I awakened in the same place but in another time—to a stranger’s soft kiss.
I couldn’t help kissing her. Sometimes you just have to kiss someone. I didn’t know this would happen.
Now I am in dire trouble because my father, the king, says I have brought ruin upon our country. I have no choice but to run away with this commoner!
Now I’m stuck with a bratty princess and a trunk full of her jewels. . . . The good news: My parents will freak!
Think you have dating issues? Try locking lips with a snoozing stunner who turns out to be 316 years old. Can a kiss transcend all—even time?

Read Beastly before you see the movie…

If you love all stories paranormal, this is the story for you!
When I heard about this story, I was really excited! I read the excerpt on Kiersten White’s website. The main character is a girl called Evelyn, friends call her Evie. She can see through paranormals’ glamours.
WEREWOLVES
VAMPIRES
FAERIES
She can see them all. It’s a gift that has made her very useful to the IPCA, an organisation that bags and tags paranormals to keep humans safe. But a prophecy is unlocked that could spell disaster. Not to mention that paranormals are dying all over the world.
Could it mean ‘Death, death and no release?’

My Review
This story was entertaining and funny. I love the characters and I think this could be the start of something pretty big. This book was great fun! Right amount for fantasy, mystery, action and romance! Evie is a funny, and awesome, likeable character. The plot was unexpected and the characters had a bit of depth to them. All Evie has wanted to be is normal and I’m happy with the ending. It seemed to me that there even seemed to be a bit of philosophy in here. Who has the right to take away life? This moral argument certainly gave it depth. I hope things work out for Evie but I’m sure she’ll soon realise that there is NOTHING exciting about being normal!
